Kryton Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ArtFall mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Game Center Data: If you sign in with Apple Game Center, we access your Game Center display name and scores for leaderboard functionality. This is handled entirely through Apple's Game Center service.

Information Collected Automatically

• Game Progress: Your gameplay progress, completed artworks, and high scores are stored locally on your device and synced via Apple's iCloud service to enable cross-device play.
• Purchase History: Records of in-app purchases are managed by Apple through the App Store and are not stored on our servers.
• Analytics Data: We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the game. This includes:
  • Game events (puzzles started, completed, or abandoned)
  • Gameplay metrics (reveal percentage, scores, time spent)
  • Feature usage (which packs are viewed or purchased)
  • App version and basic device information

  Note: This data is collected anonymously and is not linked to your personal identity unless you sign in with Game Center, in which case your Game Center ID may be used to associate your gameplay data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number) unless provided through Game Center
• Precise location data
• Device identifiers for advertising (IDFA)
• Photos, contacts, or other personal content

How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

• Save and sync your game progress across your devices via iCloud
• Display your scores on Game Center leaderboards
• Restore your in-app purchases when you reinstall the app or get a new device
• Analyze gameplay patterns to improve game balance and user experience
• Track app performance and identify issues

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Game progress is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard data storage mechanisms.
• iCloud Sync: Progress data is synced using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage, which is encrypted and secured by Apple.
• Analytics Data: Usage analytics are stored on Mixpanel's servers in the United States. Mixpanel maintains industry-standard security practices.
• No External Game Servers: We do not operate any servers that collect or store your personal game data outside of the services mentioned above.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services:

• Apple Game Center: For leaderboards and achievements. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple iCloud: For syncing game progress. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store: For in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Mixpanel: For analytics. Subject to Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

Opting Out of Analytics

You can opt out of analytics tracking by contacting us at the email below. We will disable analytics collection for your device.

Managing Your Data

You can:

• Delete Local Data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
• Delete iCloud Data: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → ArtFall to delete synced data.
• Opt Out of Game Center: You can sign out of Game Center in your device settings.
• Request Data Deletion: Contact us to request deletion of your analytics data from Mixpanel.

Children's Privacy

ArtFall does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to play. Analytics data collected from all users is anonymous and not linked to personal identities.

Data Retention

• Local Data: Retained until you uninstall the app or manually delete it.
• iCloud Data: Retained until you delete it from iCloud settings.
• Analytics Data: Retained by Mixpanel for up to 5 years, or until you request deletion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
